Crib? Changing Table? Crib Bedding? Check!

Mom and dad have been busy little bees. We finally kicked our butts into shape and got our crib (and it came with a free changing table yahoo!). We got it from Target during the big baby sale they had that apparently comes once a year. Score! We had to build it (but that's standard now days with cribs). Mom built the changing table all by herself and dad built the crib. It looks beautiful and its situated in the baby corner of our room. We pretended a stuffed puppy was baby girl and we played for like a few seconds of what it would be like to take you in and out of the crib. We are dork-a-roos and laughed so hard at ourselves! It was also very sweet and tender. We are so excited to have you be part of our lives little one. We can't wait to meet you :)

As for bedding, momma had this CRAZY idea of wanting to make the bedding herself. She hasnt liked anything at the baby stores. Too many details and frills. She wants something chic and clean. She also loves to be crafty and really was going to go for it and buy a sewing machine and all. BUT she realized it'd be a tough battle with dad because we have no room in our little apartment to store the machine, fabrics, etc. If only we lived in CA already in our own home. But no. We must keep in mind our move to CA and just buying stuff right now that is unnecessary is not logical because how are we going to move it!? Anyways, so that idea is a no go. So mom has been hunting and searching for the right bedding. Then today what does she see in her "Inbox"? A sale to Serena and Lily bedding on Ruelala! Swooon! It was simply meant to be. Because of the sale, it ended up costing about the same as the stuff you see at Babies R Us and yet its of much higher quality. Yay for good deals! The crib is espresso colored so mom thinks it will contrast beautifully with the bedding. Our walls will remain white so we'll have to figure out fixtures later on. But for now, without further ado, may we introduce baby girls bedding called "Lucy" by Serena and Lily:
