Hypno birthing and shaking belly

Dear baby girl, mommy thinks it’s the cutest thing on earth when you move and wiggle and kick and punch. But today you actually shocked mommy because she actually saw her whole belly shake and jiggle! What on earth are you doing in there? A cheerleading stunt? A martial art move? Whatever it was, it was a crazy sight! Thanks for entertaining mommy and keeping me on my toes.

Also tonight mommy and daddy started their first hypnotbirthing class. It was an ordeal getting there because we had to leave work quickly at five, trek cross the city, catch our commuter bus, jump in the car and speed to class. Add in some rush hour traffic, scary windy dark roads, and you’ve got yourself an adventure! But we finally made it to our instructors house (which by the way is a mansion) and settled into the comfy sofas and got to learning. We are very pleased with the first class and feel very really reassured that this is the right path and form of birthing for our little family. It really focuses on nature and holistic approaches to a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth. Lots of people hear hypnobirthing and think its about being under hypnosis but it not at all. It actually teaches the mother how to completely relax and work through the contractions medication free. We firmly believe in the power of the mind and feel we can have great success with hypnobirthing. Now hopefully other physiological aspects of this pregnancy will cooperate and allow us to make it to labor naturally so we can apply hypnobirthing. We shall pray!
