Life With Little Miss Ellie

Life with little Miss Ellie is the sweetest thing imaginable. Sure there are nights where she decides to have her two hours of awake and alert time or other nights where she's been fussy for no apparent reason (we realized hours later, she did have a reason to be fussy. She was hungry and mommy had issues feeding her. They are being resolved now.) But besides the difficult moments with Miss Ellie, just looking at her, breathing her in, and staring at her darling face, lets us know in a split instant, that its ALLL worth it. She is worth everything and more.

In Belly vs. In Person
Her temperment is super sweet just as I predicted. In my belly, Ellie was a very calm and relaxed baby. Sometimes so relaxed that I would worry. But now it all makes sense and matches with our true life princess. Its adorable because in my belly I would sometimes feel her scrunching way high on my right side. I knew it was her little booty scooching way up and forming this mass in my belly. I now know exactly what she was doing. She likes to curl her legs up as tight to her belly as possible. And that's exactly what she did inside my belly! It's amazing. Also, in my belly she had lots of hiccups, well guess what, she has lots of hiccups in real life too! Its kind of sad and frustrating for her but its still pretty cute. What else, oh yes, when we did the 3-d Ultrasound, she kept sticking out her tongue a lot. And what do you know, she does that alot now too! I mean a lot. Like when she stretches, when she's thinking, etc. Also she smiled a couple of times in the 3d video and yep, she smiles a ton now too! Its absouletly incredible knowing that in my belly, this little girl thrived and lived and showed her personality which totally matches her personality outside of the womb as well. It makes my heart melt knowing she is ALL MINE. Daddy is madly in love with her and we still look at ourselves in disbelief and ask, how did we get so lucky?
